Oh thank goodness... Ming Ming is leaving behind to clean up the BBQ aftermath !

The Flash Flood

Most of the people gathered at Lee Jie's house before six o'clock. Some of them were late, most probably because of the unexpected heavy downpour then. We later slowly got our foods, drinks and BBQ sets off the car, and arranged them nicely in the frontyard of the house. We expected the rain to stop before seven, however it didnt. Just as our Ex- Senior KRS Leader, Chong Pak Koon was trying to set up the fire for BBQ, the water level started to rise continuously and eventually, within a few minutes the water came into the frontyard of the house. The host had to make a very crucial decision at that time, whether to cancel the well-planned party or not. Anyhow, the first thing we had to do was to move away our cars to higher ground because by that time, what we could see was all the cars parked outside the house had already been partially submerged by water. Seriously, submerged by water ! Sources revealed that car belonged to Vivian Tan was entered by water, but luckily she managed to move away her car safely to somewhere else. We quickly packed all the stuffs back into our cars......

Plan-B

Thank goodness. Chyn Boon from our class, had offered us her house for the gathering. That was a surprise for everyone of us. At first we thought we will had to head back to our own house, but luckily, she led us back to her house. While most of the classmates were evacuated from the flooded area, a few boys left back to help Lee Jie putting on metal plate on the doors to avoid the water from getting into the house. After that, together with class monitor, assistant class monitor, Ex-SKRSL and a plate of French fries, we headed toward Taman Belimbing.

New Place

Finally. Finally, we can all settled in a "flood free zone". And of course, the party went on smoothly. Everyone was served with plentiful of foods and drinks. And again, we ignited the flame on BBQ set and there started the grillings of chicken meat and sausages. As far as I could remember, there were fried bee hun, sausages, crab sticks, chee cheung fan, home-made cheese cake, fishballs, fresh chicken meat, corn, rojak, fresh fruits, french fries, crackers, nuggets, home-made fruit jelly, Sun-Quick punch and many many many other dishes. During the few hours of gathering, we have had great fun. We chatted alot, we played together and share great moments together. Some went watching TV at the living room and some sat around the red-hot coal to BBQ.......

11.00pm

Oopsss...... It was eleven then. Time to go home. But before that, everyone got to take a photo together. Truly memorable. This was our first gathering as members of Lower Six Biology One, and this gathering was a huge success.

I would like to use this opportunity to thank the two girls that had provided us the BBQ spots, and also to everyone that had participated in the preparation for the gatherings. I'm anticipating for another similar class party.........:P

Jit Sin Express - Bio One .......... LAUNCHED !!!

Hi everyone. Its so nice for me to be able to start a blog on my own school, SMJK Jit Sin, at last. I use the title "Jit Sin Express - Bio One" because this blog is just like a daily which reports the latest and updated topics in my school, and sometimes from my class .
I thought of initiating this blog to increase the participation of our own school students in the discussions about the latest issues in this National Type secondary school. And for me, as a student, there are always some interesting events happening around. Some other people might not be able to experience the joy and excitement that school life could bring to us. So, I hope that through this blog, things can be discussed from different point of view, whether of a student or not. And in this blog, we will no longer seeing things through a disciplinary prism, which has been the stereotype perspective of a typical Jit Sinese. Bofore I start posting anything in this blog, I just wanna make it clear to the school administrator that we, the students of Jit Sin want a reformation, and perhaps I shall call it an evolution.

This blog is dedicated to my fellow L6B1 classmates and all other friends. Thank you.
