Welcome back, Lower Sixers!

Back to school!

Bio One Welcomes All Lower Sixers Back to JS..

After months of break, it's time to come back home...... JitSin Express would like to welcome all brothers and sisters, back to the big family of Jit Sin. Happy? or Sad? Well although choosing form six as your next step to continue your further studies might be the last thing you would do, but what I can tell you all is be glad with your decision. You've chosen the right path and you will certainly be proud of it.

Today I heard Mr.Tan Kim Tong's announcement about the JPA scholars in our school. I dont know whether it is something we should be happy about or not. I was just like many of you here, I kept on waiting and waiting for government scholarships. But none of my applications succeeded. Four other applicants from Jit Sin made it, some got it only after reappealing. At the meanwhile, almost 100-150 of my school mates that year got offers from Matrikulasi. I was once very depressed that time, thinking of my future without these sponsorships and scholarships by the government. Eventuall, I took up form six which was the last choice in mind.

For those JPA scholars, I would like to congratulate them for getting such lucrative offers. And also for all those Matrikulasi-ans, you guys are so lucky. But for those who stay back for form six, there are much more reasons for you guys to celebrate. Although form six is not an easy way out, you should indeed feel glad because what you are going to experience in these one and a half year will be very amazing. To me, I think that my form six life is wonderful because:

1. School life. It's not saying that you'll be imprisoned for 1 and 1/2 year in Jit Sin. It's all about having school life; with all familiar faces and teachers. Form Six is definitely the last chance in one's life to enjoy school life, unless you wanna be a teacher in the future :P Afterall, college's style isnt that fun and ejoyable, mostly because you need alot of $$. MOst importantly, the world outside now is all about $$ and reality. For me, that kind of life sucks. In school you'll be able to be with friends you know. Teachers will treat you like gold. Long hair and fingernails? No problemo! We enjoy greater freedoms than our juniors. And if you dont believe me, please review back the archive of this blog. You'll know why I love form six so much.

2. Training. As all of us know, Form Six isnt a joke. It's something so serious that you might give up half way, thanks to great pressure and workloads. It's undeniable that form six syllabus is ALOT more than Matrikulasi courses, and even A-Levels. To be short, you need to be tough enough to withstand the pressure when studying in form six. You have to be hardworking, disciplined. You need all the qualities that a real scholar should have. By the way, dont worry if you're still in vacation mood. The teachers and environment will lead you back to the track. After undergoing this kind of "torture", you'll soon graduate as a wise individual, an educated one. Unlike Matrikulasi,(90% allocation for Malay students only) you guys will get a proper and better training and education, and it's certainly not an easy way out.
*According to an international survey, the Malaysian Form Six is one of the TOUGHEST academic assessments in the WORLD.

Hope you guys feel better to have chosen form six. While at the last station of school life, enjoy yourself. Discover the wonders and explore the brand new page of your life.

Welcome back to SMJK JIT SIN! :D

Form6 is the second hardest examinations on earth, after the French version of Form5,where only elites are selected, then among these elites who goes to university, only 10% of them will graduate. Thats France, where study is totally free.

Form six is hard, but i think that if your result isnt that bad, there are many many many many scholarships that you could apply, just tat we didnt know at the time..which means college or private uni isnt impossible.

Dont know bout f6, but i think different ppl has different demands, I think i've made the right choice in terms of life learning. I've grown, I think lar...hahahah...

Cheers ^o^

heyz,
i hereby really wanna welcome all lower sixes...form 6 is tough but very interesting...u can see frens grow up(mature)n u can forge stronger relationship with all frens which is invaluable...i'm really happy i chose form 6 n will never regret.
firstly i feel tat form sixes really work very hard and the satisfaction we get after lots of hard work is great...
MOst importantly,i get to b with my parents and siblings for xtra 1 and a half years...taking form 6 allows u to b with ur family 4 a longer period b4 u really go faraway to further ur studies...that time u'll surely feel homesick,so an xtra 2 year or so period with ur family is really essential for me...heheZz...

See? more than twenty people got JPA scholarships this year. why that many? this year is ELECTION YEAR. expected to be held on october. shit government use this tactics to lure votes.

in my year, more than 150 get 9As and above. But only 4 got JPA scholarships. many people appealed, but these MCA guys didnt even want to help us to submit the forms. they collect the appeal letters, and kept it in their offices. USELESS.

but now, very different. they brought students by bus to KL to reappeal. how cheap they are. want to lure votes, again. five years once. how i wish i was born one year later. i miss the boat.

damn government. sucking admin
